Story
Hi there!
We are raising funds for a cause very close to our hearts...
As the Board members, Staff and Friends of St John's Community Services (SJCS) which operates Rough Edges, Banksia Women and St John's Legal Centre, we have the privilege of seeing and hearing about the impact of our work first hand.
We are participating in Roughtober because we are passionate about the issues around homelessness, marginalisation and social justice. We are going to sleep rough for one night to raise money for Rough Edges because so many of our patrons don't have that luxury.
Please help us make the lives of people who are doing it tough just a little bit better.

St John's Community Services Limited (Rough Edges)
St John's Community Services Limited was established to fund and maintain a number of targeted services for the disadvantaged and marginalised in the Darlinghurst and Kings Cross area. Including:
Rough Edges Cafe -a place for the street community to have a coffee, enjoy a free meal and spend time together in a safe and welcoming environment
Banksia Women - a safe, judgement free space for women who have experienced domestic and family violence
St Johns Legal Service - we contract a solicitor to assist those needing help with free legal services and referrals.
