Hello
This year, I'm going to sleep rough for one night to support the work of Rough Edges.
I am participating in Roughtober to support the great work done by Rough Edges. I am so impressed by the team and the volunteers who tirelessly work to help some of our city’s most vulnerable people. The stories I hear out of Rough Edges are really inspiring … people’s lives really have been changed.
I will be sleeping on my veranda. I’m a little worried about the family of possums in our backyard who like to visit the house at night time but, hey, it’s only for one night!

St John's Community Services Limited (Rough Edges)
St John's Community Services Limited was established to fund and maintain a number of targeted services for the disadvantaged and marginalised in the Darlinghurst and Kings Cross area. Including:
Rough Edges Cafe -a place for the street community to have a coffee, enjoy a free meal and spend time together in a safe and welcoming environment
Banksia Women - a safe, judgement free space for women who have experienced domestic and family violence
St Johns Legal Service - we contract a solicitor to assist those needing help with free legal services and referrals.
